hello,
maybe you can try with clamsentinel ? It's a resident monitoring process
for clamwin under windows.... or you maybe use a proxy with HAVP between
your wamp and the people connecting to it.

BB Stefano
any update please?
Hi,
I want to scan files before upload to my local directory hence, I'm using
WAMP environment for my development. I tried to download MSI
(clamav-0.99.2-win32.msi) file from your website - http://www.clamav.net/
downloads and installed successfully.
Now, I'm bit confused that how to scan a file in PHP. Do I want to enable
anything in php.ini file?
After the MSI installation, there is a folder created in C:\Program
Files\ClamAV which includes few application files.
Can you help me to go forward?
Karthick
Dear Team,
Hope this email finds you well.
I'm facing an issue while doing setup for clamav in PHP/wamp. I installed
- clamav-0.99.2-win32.msi and no idea how to configure with WAMP.
Can you please suggest us how to do the implementation?
Appreciate if you can provide a feedback earliest as possible
you are missing to state *what* you try to achieve
"setup for clamav in PHP/wamp" can be all or nothing

Kathleen,

You have come to the wrong place. This list is for questions about ClamAV (without the "X"). An uninstaller is no longer necessary. If you have ClamXav version 10.9 or above, the instruction for removal are at the bottom of this page <https://www.clamxav.com/faq.php#Q23>. You will fine the ClamXav app in your Applications folder.

If you have the App Store version 2.6.4 or earlier, then use these Apple instructions <https://support.apple.com/kb/PH25083>.

[about 100 lines of impolite rubbish snipped]
You have come to the wrong place ...
... and not for the first time!

Apart from your lack of courtesy, Katy, ClamAV is not the only problem.

A quick google search for 'mac beginners guide' gave me a little over
twenty-two million hits. Somewhere in there will be a forum where
people will be very happy to explain to you the use of command-line
tools like 'df', 'cd', 'ls', 'du' and 'rm', not only to find out how
you are using disc space but also to do something about it much more
easily than messing about with GUIs. If you use these tools, please
be careful with that last one. The others are mostly harmless.

SSDs have a deservedly poor reliability reputation, and when they fail
they tend not to fail gracefully, a few sectors at a time, like discs
often do, but - instead - by going 100% unreadable somewhere inbetween
consecutive CPU clock cycles with absolutely no warning whatsoever.

If you have anything that's important to you on your SSD which isn't
*already* backed up, then you might want to get yourself a couple of
large USB memory sticks to take care of that. Right now.

i call that FUD

other than a HDD flash media *typically* is completly readable but
refuses to write a single byte - had more than one SD card with that
behavior which even burned a confused smartphones card-reader down
because overheating of the device (full battery empty within 30 minutes)

i was able to read them without any issue

they just did not write anything but confirmed every write access (which
likely was the reason of device overheating when read/write never
matches and no device error)

they confrimed format them with ext2, ext3, ext4, fat32, xfs, overwrite
them with "dd" and after pull out and insert again all data where still
unchanged

and frankly one must show me any flash storage in real life which was
completly unreadable from one moment to the other - there me be rare
cases but if you had one of them don't confuse your single expierience
with "that is how a SSD acts"

again FUD: if you have *anything* that's important and you have no
backup it's not important and can be lost in the next second - "on your
SSD" has no place in that statement
